Remember that tagline “Utterly Butterly Delicious Amul”. This was something the kids in their 90s grew up with. That amazing taste of fresh butter, milk, and many other products brought along by this dairy giant always managed to win the hearts of all. Amul has always been a mark of trust in the Indian household and very recently, the brand has upped its game when it comes to paying tribute to various role models and influencers.
The death of epically-talented Kader Khan left everyone in tears. The veteran actor passed away in Canada on Tuesday leaving his strong legacy of amazing movies with power-packed performances. The 81-year-old comic actor dedicated his talent for more than 300 movies and was also credited with the position of a screenwriter in 250+ movies. His iconic punch-lines went viral and will always stay with the audience.
To mark his amazing life, Amul recently paid tribute to the actor with their latest caricature. This particular caricature featured some of his popular and diversified roles like the role of villain in 1983 movie Coolie alongside the Fakeer Baba from 1978 movie Muqaddar Ka Sikandar. This dairy brand etched a monochromatic tribute that portrayed his range of talent.
His terrific performances were brought to light along with a heart touching tagline that said “Sab Kader Karte Thhe Unki”. This translated to English means that everyone valued this actor and his skills. This beautifully etched cartoon captures his valuable and noteworthy performances for Hindi cinema.
The actor for quite some time was hospitalized in the city of Toronto post complaints of breathlessness. His body was rested in a cemetery in Canada on Wednesday after the funeral ceremony held in the Mississauga.
Cricket, Rishabh Pant, and Amul
Rishabh Pant, a new entry into the world of cricket, was recently tagged with the title “Best Babysitter” by Bonnie, Tim Paine’s wife. This unique title made cricket fans all around the globe laud him for this off-the-field gesture. So much so that he got his very own song penned down by “The Bharat Army” which goes something like this:
“We’ve got Pant
I just don’t think you’ll understand
He’ll hit you for a six
He’ll babysit your kids
we’ve got Rishabh Pant”
Rishabh Pant clearly managed to win the hearts of Tim Paine’s kids as a wonderful babysitter. This sweet gesture took place after a pretty interesting banter amid these two players as they were participating for the Melbourne Test.
Pant was snapped with Paine’s kids at the residence of Australian Prime Minister during a function. Many praised Pant for his heartwarming gesture and this incident has now made this cricketer all the more popular.
Honoring this gesture, Amul featured him for their latest caricature topical. In this cartoon, the cricketer is drawn wearing a crisp suit with two children in both his arms. This is similar to that mirror photo that got viral in social media. Lauding his venture as a baby sitter, the cartoon dubbed a tagline that stated “Child’s Play for Pant”.
Rishabh’s gesture proved that sports is not about rivalry but about team spirit and having fun as you play.
In the years of its existence, Amul has always managed to draw the attention of the consumers with these amazing caricatures of popular legends and trending events and incidents in the country. A trend that started with the caricature of the “Amul Girl” has expanded to every genre starting from politics to Bollywood, and many more.
